Property Tax Freeze
The Property Tax Freeze Program was adopted by the Bradley County Commission in August 2007 to help control property tax increases of property owners 65 years of age or older whose income does not exceed an income limit set by the state of Tennessee.
The tax is frozen at the tax amount for the year that the property owner initially qualifies for the program. The tax amount will not increase as long as the property owner meets the eligibility requirements, and there are no improvements to the property.
Eligibility Requirements:

Must own and use the property as your primary residence
Previous years income must not exceed the limit set by the State of Tennessee
Required Documentation:

- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
- Retirement or Pension benefits
- Veterans' Administration benefits
